		Downtown Nakasu / Fukuoka Dome Uminonakamichi Seaside Park : This is a huge park consisting of various facilities such as a mini zoo, a childrens square, various pools and water slides, an aquarium with over 350 species of marine life and tons of other attractions that will keep you entertained for an entire day. Hakata Gion Yamagasa Festival : Held over two weeks at the beginning of July, this is an all-male festival announcing the coming of summer. The festival reaches its climax with a race between seven teams carrying huge floats known as yamagasa.

		On Foot: 6 minute walk from Hakata Station, Hakata Exit./ 3 minute walk from Gion Station, P2 Exit (Airport Line, subway). By Train: JR Shinkansen bullet train (Nozomi) - 150 minutes from Shin-Osaka Station. By Plane: From Fukuoka Airport with Fukuoka City Airport Line (250 yen) to Gion Station and walk to Hotel (total 15 minutes).
